My favorite (non-chocolate) snack is now Pie-Oh-My! from Lifestream in Wildberry. It comes in a nifty high-tech wrapper so it doesn't get soggy when you put it in the microwave. I really REALLY like berry pies... this one only has 280 calories in the whole thing (it's about the size of a Hot Pocket) so if I do eat it all instead of sharing (which has been known to happen) I don't feel too bad.
From the press release:
"Unlike the other individual serve pies, Pie-Oh-My!™ pies are made from 70% organic ingredients. Each pie comes with 2/3 of a serving of real fruit filling in a whole grain pastry crust that contains two whole grain servings. For your convenience, each 3.5 ounce pie is fully baked and then frozen – all you have to do is thaw and eat or heat and serve to enjoy."
This actually gave me a new idea... I didn't know you could thaw and eat! Although I prefer warm pie, this could come in handy in pie-related emergencies. I'm not sure what would constitute a pie emergency, but I think I had a couple when I was pregnant... (Perhaps I had a few too many pie-nacho-naan-frosting-milkshake-samosa-chocolate cake emergencies, considering that I gained, um, 70 pounds.)
Yeah... Weight Watchers was happy about that!
